State and/or District Administrators

Omega Math has been online since 1996, and is associated with Woodbury University and the Extension office at California Polytechnic State University. Our courses meet or exceed college standards.

Why Omega Math?

States, schools and districts can save 88% - 100% on textbook fees every year!

With all the budget cuts states have endured these past few years, lower costs are important. States have had to cut classes, as well as teachers. Omega Math can cut textbook costs out completely, and increase learning dramatically at the same time. Omega Math is a great alternative, with discounted rates for states.

Because of the way the program is set up, one teacher can take on more students since students at any level can be enrolled under one teacher. All the tests/quizzes/finals are graded electronically, thus a teacher's only job will be to keep track of their student's progress and keep them focused and on track. Since teachers are not bogged down with countless hours of grading, it leaves them more time for student-teacher interaction. Teachers are given accounts that they can use to view and monitor their students' progress. All students in k-12 grades can obtain access to all of our online courses with a state contract.

Omega Math lessons are packed full of examples from the easiest to the most advanced levels.
At each level, there are interactive problems which make sure the student understands the examples, as well as enables the student to store the information into long term memory.

As far as completion statistics, Omega Math has a very high success rate with an exceptional amount of A grades. These courses have been classroom tested for over 20 years. Because of the many years of refining the courses, Omega Math receives very few math questions even though there are tens of thousands of students using the online curriculum.

Omega Math keeps the site as simple as possible so that students never find themselves overwhelmed with needless information. All the course material is online, and is designed to work on Mac's, PC's, Linux and older browsers.

Students can take each test, quiz or final twice, and Omega Math will record the highest score. There is homework and a quiz for every lesson/section, a chapter test for every chapter, and a final for every course.

When a student has finished the course through your state program, he/she has an option to receive an official transcript through one of the California universities in which Omega Math is associated with, by paying the college's fees.

How does the program work?

Our system is set up to deliver teacher and coordinator accounts, which provide all the access needed to manage your students.

If you want your students to enroll themselves and pay individually, you have three options as a teacher or administrator. Your students can take courses for college credits, for continuing education units, or for noncredit. Omega Math works with Woodbury University, which will provide college credits with an official transcript, and California Polytechnic University, which will provide continuing education units with an official transcript. The noncredit choice greatly reduces the cost for the student, and Omega Math will issue a certificate of completion. For more information on credit types, please visit the credit options page, and the how the courses work for students page.

What is the Cost of the Program?

If your school would like your students to enroll and pay for themselves, the cost to your school is zero.
Your school may also have teacher and coordinator accounts with this option.

If the courses are paid for by the school, your school is given the bulk rate which is a sizable discount from the price of individual courses.
